Highlights
- •Patient care, co-worker relationships, and teamwork were the themes that emerged for the most satisfying aspects of work for all respondents.
- •Leadership attributes, followed by co-worker conflicts, low-quality communication, feeling devalued, work schedule conflicts, and inadequate staffing were the least satisfying aspects of work for all participants.
- •Civilian and military respondents reported distinct differences in the areas of least satisfaction.
- •Hospital leaders should implement training workshops that focus on conflict resolution strategies.
